IMPORTANT POLICIES
At Manuel Antonio Surf School (MASS), we aim to offer a flexible and transparent booking experience for all our guests. Please take a moment to review our key policies below.
🧒 CHILDREN: Minimum age: 5 years old. All minors must have a signed waiver from a legal guardian to participate.
🚐 TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is included only in Manuel Antonio and Quepos area in all our tours and activities.
💳 PAYMENT POLICIES: Full payment is required 8 days before the activity date, for direct bookings, a 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation, the remaining balance may be paid on the day of the class at our office, payments can be made via PayPal, credit card, or cash
🕒 LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS: Bookings made within 8 days of the activity must be paid in full on the same day of confirmation.
We recommend contacting us via WhatsApp for real-time availability.
❌ CANCELLATION POLICIES: 8+ days before no penalty, 4–7 days before 50% penalty, 3 days or less 100% penalty applies, no-shows 100% penalty in all cases. Note: cancellations due to unsafe weather or ocean conditions are fully refundable or may be rescheduled.
💵 REFUNDS: Refunds are issued only as credit notes according to the above timeframes, no cash refunds are provided.
🔄MODIFICATIONS: Changes or reschedules are possible up to 8 hours before the activity (subject to availability), please contact our team as early as possible to secure your preferred time and date.
🌧 WEATHER & SAFETY POLICY: Your safety is our top priority. If ocean or weather conditions are not suitable, MASS reserves the right to reschedule or modify your lesson. You’ll always be offered an alternative time or full credit.
