How do I get there?
We are about a 2.5 hr drive from the San Jose International airport. The roads are very good and the drive is easy. We offer airport transportation services. There are also rental cars, car service and buses available. We are happy to help you with this. There are also regional flights from San Jose to Manuel Antonio/Quepos on Sansa Airlines.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
Nope. Our instructors largely speak English and most Costa Ricans in tourism do as well.
Can I use USD?
Yes, everyone takes USD. ATMs usually offer USD or Colones.
Do I need to bring a surfboard?
You are of course more than welcome to bring your own board. However we do have a broad selection of boards across a wide range of sizes. So you should be able to find something that you’d love to ride.
What should I bring?
- Swimwear
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Sunglasses/Hat
- Towel
- Cash as we generally require cash payment on site.
- Rashguards, equipment, insurance, water and fruit are all included.
